The Role
Dragon Group Asia require a Finance Associate to join and contribute to our fast-growing team in Shanghai. The Finance Associate will undertake day to day running of the company’s finances, reporting directly to our VP Finance, ensuring key reports are maintained and reconciled, while providing key metrics to help determine strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain ledgers and monitor key financial reports
  • Manage and schedule accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Create monthly and quarterly financial summaries for VP finance and company directors
  • Create budgets and projections under supervision of VP Finance & other project managers
  • Develop profitability scenarios and share with necessary teams
  • Continuously improve current databases and systems
  • Provide and interpret accurate financial data extracting key financial metrics
  • Monitor and project cash flows and profits for the short and medium term
  • Work with VP Finance for valuation appraisal of ad hoc projects and investments


  • Student or recent graduate (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Study and/or work experience in accounting, finance, business or management
  • Interest or experience in media or events preferred
  • Strong ability with Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with ability and willingness to learn
  • Strong written and spoken language ability in Chinese and English
  • Confident and organised with a track record of leadership, teamwork and logical decision making
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet short deadlines
  • Ability to explain financial concepts to colleagues with less financial background
  • High attention to detail and open-minded approach to work

Time Commitment
Dates: Monday to Friday – 10 am to 6 pm
Internship Length: start from mid of March,  minimum 4 months, more than 6 months preferred
